  • Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kochi, Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar, Delhi, Amritsar

Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce is leading its annual India Mission in January 2013. India Mission 2013 will be visiting six cities in India – Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kochi, Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar, Delhi and Amritsar. In Kochi, the mission will participate in PBD-India. In Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar, the mission will participate in Vibrant Gujarat.

ICCC has established a full program, including networking events, policy discussions and attendance at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas conference

These meetings will take the delegation to six cities: Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kochi, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, New Delhi & Amritsar

Among the delegates are members of the City of Brampton’s economic development department, led by the city’s Mayor, Her Worship Susan Fennell. They will be accompanying the delegation to all the six cities. The City of Markham’s economic development department, led by the city’s Mayor, His Worship Frank Scarpitti, will also be part of the delegation to three cities.

ICCC has developed a program for the delegation that includes meetings with India’s largest and most influential trade bodies, including the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), India-Canada Business Chamber (ICBC), World Trade Centre (WTC) Mumbai, the All India Association of Industries and other key trade organizations.

Meetings with these organizations will take various formats – including B2B meetings, networking receptions, luncheon, roundtables and briefings – to offer the delegation the most effective opportunities for business connections with Indian companies represented by these organizations.

The delegation will be attending the annual Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Kochi. Following ICCC recognition with Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award by the Government of India in January, 2012, the Kochi PBD is an important event for networking and information about Indian economic initiatives. Themed “Engaging Diaspora: The Indian Growth Story,” the Kochi PBD expected to deliberate on the Indian government’s three-way link between the global Indian Diaspora, economic growth and social development. The ICCC is confident that participants will find the Kochi PBD an informative glimpse into India's plans for future growth and business opportunities.
