Chai With CEO - Networking & Social Mixer
The Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce's Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (YPE) committee would like to invite you to attend Chai with CEO Networking & Social Mixer. You can engage with like-minded folks from different industries and gain valuable networking time with knowledgeable and reputable industry leaders. YPE aims to provide everyone an equal chance to showcase their skillsets, have meaningful conversations, foster and build connections, as well as learn from one another via workshops and mentoring opportunities. All YPE initiatives will support community-building and further strengthening our Indo-Canadian networks.

Sean Albert, Regional Senior Vice President, Toronto Region

Sean Albert joined Scotiabank in October 2005 and has since held progressively senior roles in International Banking Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate and Commercial Banking, Treasury, and the Capital Markets Team. Sean was Managing Director, Caribbean East where he led Scotiabank’s operations in nine countries. He was also appointed Managing Director and Country Head at Scotiabank (Bahamas) Limited. He was on the board of directors of Scotiabank (Bahamas) Limited, Scotiabank Caribbean Holdings, Barbados and Bank of Nova Scotia International (BNSI) Ltd. He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Economics, both from the University of the West Indies, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Priya Dhawan-Chahal, District Vice-President, Midtown
Priya Dhawan-Chahal currently serves as District Vice President at Scotiabank, leading a team of 14 branches across Midtown Toronto. Before joining Scotiabank in 2016, Priya lead business and client relationship development for Financial Services at Bay Street law firm, McCarthy Tetrault. She has held various Leadership roles in the financial services industry for over 15 years in Capital Markets, Commercial Banking and now Retail banking. Priya is a program champion for the Scotiabank Women Initiative and the Co-Lead for Women in Leadership for Toronto Region. She attained an MBA from Schulich School of Business, and a B.Com from U of T.
