Canada–Uganda Business Forum 2025

The Canada–Uganda Business Forum 2025 was held in Brampton on November 25–26, 2025, with strong participation from the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) Board of Directors. The opening sessions featured Hon. Bagiire Vincent Waiswa (Permanent Secretary) and Hon. Patrick Brown (Mayor of Brampton), alongside ICCC President Prashant Srivastava and Vice President–Corporate Secretary Dr. Indira Khurana, who highlighted opportunities in agriculture, education, clean energy, mining, infrastructure, digital transformation and SME development. A major outcome was the signing of an MOU between the ICCC and the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, facilitated by Uganda’s High Commissioner to Canada, H.E. Allan Kajik, with the support and presence of ICCC Directors Vikas Gupta, Vinay Thapliyal, Deepak Malik, Alok Nagpal, Ajay Tandon, Deepak Shamnani, and senior leaders, including Ramesh Chotai, Hiten Makim, Kam Rathee and Murarilal Thapliyal.l
