The Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Mr. Pavi Binning, President & Chief Executive Officer of George Weston Limited is the recipient of the ICCC’s ‘2016 Corporate Executive of the Year Award’.

Mr. Pavi Binning is the President & CEO of George Weston Limited. George Weston Limited is one of Canada’s largest public companies and the parent company of businesses including Loblaw Companies Limited, Shoppers Drug Mart, Choice Properties REIT, Weston Foods, President’s Choice Financial and Joe Fresh.

For more than two decades, the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce has honoured luminaries from the Indo-Canadian community for their achievements in different spheres of life. An independent jury decides these awards.

Past recipients of the Corporate Executive Awards include Nadir Mohamed, Sriram Iyer, Nitin Kawle, Deepak Chopra, Sanjay Tugnait, Hari Pandey and Asim Ghosh among others.

The Annual Gala and Awards Night is a marquee event where the Chamber recognizes the achievements of Indo-Canadians from across Canada at an award presentation. Our past Award Galas have been attended by prominent business and political leaders. It is extensively covered by Indian and mainstream media.

The Award Gala will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto on June 11, 2016 at 6:00pm.
