 Mr. Pramod Goyal, President ICCC, thanked the Chief Minister of Goa Mr. Pramod Sawant and welcomed the delegation at the ICCC office. Mr. Goyal said that During ICCC’s India Mission visit to Goa, ICCC explored the new opportunities available for Canadian businesses to engage with the Goan business community. In order to take this relationship to next level, the chamber signed Memorandum of Understanding with Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI), Goa Technology Association (GTA) and Travel and Tourism Association of Goa (TTAG). India Mission delegation also met a number of prominent decision makers in Goa including Goa Revenue & IT Minister Hon. Rohan Khaunte. Mr. Goyal assured all the support from the ICCC to the Vibrant Goa Summit. |
 
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Jagat Shah, leader of the delegation and Mr. Rajkumar Kamat in a joint presentation said that Vibrant Goa 2019 is organized by Vibrant Goa Foundation in partnership with Global Network and BNI and in association with Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Goa State Industries Association and Goa Technology Association. Make in India is the manufacturing partner of Vibrant Goa 2019. The initiative is supported by Government of Goa, India. VG GES 2019 will be one of a kind display expo; something that has never been witnessed by the people of Goa and its industry. This display shall be sharing all the developments, newer projects and vision of growth. Vibrant Goa 2019 is based on the Vibrant Gujarat model which brings together global business leaders, investors, corporations, thought leaders, policy and opinion makers to understand and explore business opportunities. The key focus sectors of the summit are Agro and Food Processing, Emerging Technologies, Construction Equipment’s, IT (Information Technology), Light Engineering, Medical Tourism, Pharma and Biotech, Startups and Start-up Institutions, Ship Building, Education, Building Materials, construction and Real Estate, Film & Entertainment, Tourism and wellness etc.
