PROGRAM BRIEF: This program is being developed specially for the Indo Canadian diaspora by ICCC in association with York University’s, Asian Research Centre. This digital marketing mastery bootcamp, will help entrepreneurs and small businesses become self-sufficient in developing digital marketing strategies while implementing and evaluating digital marketing campaigns for business growth. This program will enable you to scale up marketing efforts, strengthen your online presence and deliver compelling content that will help them keep in touch with your current customers and connect with new business opportunities. You will also learn to identify elements of success and failure in your digital marketing plans and make necessary changes to optimize results. You’ll learn practical skills that can help you stay ahead of the curve. Learn to effectively use digital and social media channels, explore Google Analytics, and set clear, actionable digital marketing strategies for your business . You will also get hands-on training in the latest tools and techniques, develop skills to succeed in website marketing, social media advertising, email marketing, and Google Ads. Learn Through Doing -You will receive microgrant upto a $500 to invest in real-world digital marketing initiatives and experiment with new techniques. This helps put your newfound knowledge into actionable results. You get to showcase your progress and learnings to experts and receive their inputs. In addition all participants get a chance to join the ICCC Marketing community- An online discussion forum and an online community comprising participating business owners and experts in this field which will also act as a reservoir of resources Scheduling and Delivery: A nine-week training program, comprising of 2 sessions each week of 2 hours, (36 training hours over nine weeks). The training program will be delivered online using a sophisticated Learning Management System(LMS) and will feature a combination of real-time synchronous, instructor-led and asynchronous (on-demand) sessions. All sessions will be offered synchronously to encourage engaging discussions and interactivity. Program Structure and Content: Module 1: Understand your business, marketing goals and your target audience Through this module, participants will develop a deeper understanding of their target market, target audience and create their client persona. They will learn the digital marketing funnel and build up unique selling points and value proposition for their products/services. Module 2: Promote small businesses through effective digital channels Participants will learn how to utilize the following tools to bring their brand story to life and grow and engage a community around their offerings: 1: Website marketing: content marketing and SEO 2: Social media marketing and social advertising 3: Email marketing and earned media 4: Google advertising Participants will be able to create comprehensive digital marketing campaigns that deliver effective results. Module 3: Data collection and analysis This module helps you unleash the capability of your data. Discover what your customer wants, likes, needs and does. Understand what you have done well and what you need to improve in your marketing campaigns. Module 4: Put together your digital marketing strategy and present your campaign results. This module helps you to build a clear vision of your digital marketing strategy, and makes it actionable with budget, channel and media plans, KPIs and more. The program concludes with the completion of a digital marketing strategy for each individual’s small business. PROGRAM INTAKE: Limited only to 115 participants spread across 4 cohorts of 25-30 participants each. PROGRAM TIMELINES: Cohort 1 : July 5 - Sep 6, 2023 Cohort 2: Sep 11 - Nov 8, 2023 Cohort 3: Oct 16 - Dec 13, 2023 Cohort 4: Jan 8 - Mar 6, 2024 Eligibility: This program is for residents of Ontario. Primarily the program is for entrepreneurs and small businesses, however participation will be made open to Indo Canadian job seekers who wish to get into digital marketing roles. *This includes persons who graduated as an international student from a designated learning institution and have been granted a work permit under the Post-Graduation Work Permit Program, and those in Canada on a temporary work permit who have been granted Permanent Resident status. However please note as per govt guidelines we cannot include full-time students and summer student programs Program fee: This program is fully funded by MLITSD and no course fee will be charged from participants.
