EHSP – A Business Solution for Health Risks

Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce is organizing an interactive session on the Executive Health Savings Plan (EHSP) on February 25, 2015.

This presentation will discuss why business owners should consider Critical Illness Insurance coverage. The presentation will cover the various options available to business owners when considering Critical Illness Insurance coverage, including the split dollar/shared ownership strategy (Executive Health Savings Plan) designed by Desjardins Financial Security. The EHSP helps hedge this risk to enable business leaders to protect against the economic risk caused by the serious illness of a shareholder or key employee

With over 14 years of experience in the insurance industry, Dawit started with the Co-operators Insurance in sales and progressed to developing sales and product training materials for new and seasoned advisors. In 2009, he joined Desjardins Financial Security as a Regional Director – Individual Insurance. He brings a strong passion for building an advisors business, training and developing advisors to maximize their sales potential while helping them to create a relationship sales-based culture in their practice. He is a graduate of Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts and possess the Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter, Certified Health Specialist, and the Professional Financial Planner Designations.
