 ICCC team with the small entrepreneurs presenters

Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) organsied its second seminar in the ‘ Me & My ICCC : Let’s Benefit’ series on December 13, 2017 on the theme Networking and B2B meeting.

The series with specific theme is expected to be held once in every two months inviting business promoters for pitching their services to the Chamber’s members at competitive rates.

Theme based events connect chain of services introduced and offered by members. Understand the integration within a given theme, be it Real estate, Hospitality, Healthcare, Education.

The theme also orients and refreshes best practices knowledge shared to our members.  The chime of the event’s success has been promoting business and services for generating internal business leads and networking amidst our trade members.

The program's purpose is to achieve the following:

·         ‘Networking’ – B2B Networking Approach – can it work for me: An Orientation

·         Inspirational Speech – Case study of Successful Professional within our ICCC.

·         Bringing together our ICCC members in developing our trade and contacts.

·         Knowing our members closely and build up cross beneficial connectivity

·         Business Pitching for our members with specific discounts

·         Eventual after 3 Seminars, we shall have newsletter post of the event to highlight on our events and any discounts by members as part of Affinity program.

Kanwar Dhanjal, President, ICCC, flagged the latest event of the series held December 13. He recognized the event providing valued networking opportunities for our members, while ICCC’s Abu Becker, the Director of Business Development, reminded of various opportunities ICCC offered in terms of recently concluded SME Winter Expo and other important events following such as India Mission and Gala Dinner.

The event featured four small entrepreneurs to promote their businesses within the Chamber members:

  • SBI Canada Bank - wholly owned subsidiary of State Bank of India the largest Bank in India
  • Tangentia Inc. – IT consulting, technology and outsourcing firm based in Canada, USA, India.
  • BizXL Solutions Inc. – A management consulting firm for improving business performance and enterprise risk management.
  • Canadian Training Partners – providing leadership development, customized solutions as well as career planning tools.

All of them had their services well presented to the Chamber’s members and offered specific value services to ICCC members.

The event was well attended. There was a formal representation from India formally announced by Ajay Tandon, ICCC’s Vice President, Programs and Events.
