Invitation to India Week at UQAM, Montréal, Canada

The Montreal Institute of International Studies (MIIS), in close collaboration with the Centre d’études et de recherche sur l’Inde, de l’Asie du Sud et sa diaspora (CERIAS), is organizing an India Week (Semaine Inde) extending over a five-day period at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), from October 6 to 10, 2014.

The main objective of India Week is to promote greater understanding of the country and people of India in addressing key topics such as the place of India in the world today, the politics and cultural challenges, the environmental challenges, the commercial relations with Canada and with Québec as well, including artistic and cinematographic activities.

Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC), as a sponsor of India week, is actively participating in three different panels. We cordially invite you to attend the events of India week.
