Residential and Commercial Tenancy Rights
Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce is organizing a Seminar in partnership with Nanda & Associate Lawyers on “Residential and Commercial Tenancy Rights”. Tenancies covers a broad range of topics with a focus on raising a Landlord’s awareness as to their rights and obligations. While it is vital to have a written lease agreement with a Tenant, where there is conflict between the lease agreement and the Residential Tenancies Act, the Act supersedes the contract, and it is important for a Landlord to know how to stay on-side with the provisions of the law.
Speakers:
Jagmohan Singh Nanda, Senior Lawyer, is the founder and principal of Nanda & Associate Lawyers, P.C. He practices primarily in the areas of Real Estate, Business Law, Immigration, Wills & Estates, and Personal Injury.
Ralph Swaine has practiced Civil Litigation continuously since his call to the bar in 1980. Ralph has over 30 years of experience handling civil litigation matters. He has handled files for both individual and corporate clients, including several large financial institutions. His cases have included collection files, contract disputes, insurance litigation, construction liens, wrongful dismissal and contested estates.
