Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce partnered with Seneca College for panel discussion on ‘Entrepreneurship and Innovation’. The panel discussion was moderated by Mr. Chris Dudley, Director of Entrepreneurship at Seneca.
Mr. Kanwar Dhanjal, President ICCC in his welcome remarks said that entrepreneurial skills are essential in the modern day business sector. It will get you ready for the challenges and hardships in starting the new businesses. He also congratulated the IILM students for their course completion.
The panelists shared their views on their entrepreneurship journey. Panelists throw light on the different aspect of entrepreneurship and innovation and how both complement each other. Why is entrepreneurship important in today’s market and how is Canadian Incubation is different from Indian innovation (Jugad). What is the role of business, government and educational institutions in the development of youth entrepreneurship to shape the future of the society?

Sabharwal, President, NewGen Reality Experts Inc., Ms. Devika Penekelapati, Founding Partner and Managing Partner, Borders Law Firm participated in the panel discussion. Mr. Tanmay Arora, IILM, BBA, and Ms. Rucha Khare, IILM, BBA, also participated as student panelist. Mr. Prashant Srivastava, Director South Asia, Seneca college played a key role in putting this event together with the ICCC which turned out to be a successful event.
The Students from IILM, New Delhi India also received their course completion Certificates at the event. ICCC board members Mr. Kanwar Dhanjal, Ms. Devika Penekelapati, Mr. Nareshkumar Chavda, and Mr. Pradyuman Jhala were also present at the event. ICCC’s Education committee chair Ms. Gursharan Kandra was also present.
